If you have a startup that develops its product in the micromobility sector, then VEFRESH is the right place for you. The goal is to help start-ups in the field of micromobility develop their product in one of the three pilot territories of the city of Riga.

In cooperation with Riga municipality, private and public sector, startups pilot the latest innovative solutions in the public outdoor space.

 
 
 

City to Sea urban and water innovation accelerator

Participants will work in two thematic areas - mobility and water innovations. Urban mobility emphasizes convenient, affordable and environmentally friendly movement in cities. All the while, the water innovations focus on environmental protection, digital transformation of ports, food supply chains and other thematic areas of the blue economy.

  • Individual support portfolio for prototyping up to 12 000 EUR*;

  • Support for solution deployment in real-life environments;

  • High-level lectures, practical seminars and workshops.

Future mobility - Accelerate 2 Move

Accelerate2MOVE is a thematic accelerator of EIT Urban mobility, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, 5G, Vehicle -to-everything, Internet-of-Things connectivity and Web 3.0, i.e.advanced technologies that can contribute to sustainable urban mobility. In the period of 3 years (2023-2025), the accelerator aims to provide support to at least 36 early-stage companies developing solutions from TRL4 to TRL7 and recommend at least 12 top performers for investment to EIT Urban mobility. The accelerator will also strengthen the market position for startups related to urban mobility from the EU and Third countries associated to Horizon Europe.

Coordinated by North-West Croatia Regional Energy and Climate Agency (HR), Accelerate2Move is operated by 5 experienced partners from Croatia, Latvia and Slovenia: Innovation Centre Nikola Tesla (HR), Poslovna inteligencija (HR), Ljubljana University Incubator (SI), VEFRESH (LV) and LMT (LV).

Advanced technologies supported by the project are used to improve active mobility, enable an uptake of alternative energy sources in transport, support seamless intermodal transportation of goods and passengers, to build smart infrastructure that collects and exchanges data, to increase the quality of public space in cities etc
